If the entire incense stick burns black when lit, will the smell be different?

Share to
Many new incense enthusiasts, when lighting incense sticks or standing incense,
often find that the entire section burns black when lit with a high flame from a lighter.
This affects the aroma of the burned section, resulting in a burnt smell.
When lighting incense, first hold it horizontally and rotate it once to avoid burning too much of the back part and
releasing a burnt smell.
Usually, when appreciating incense, the burned section is burned first before giving it to other friends for a more accurate aroma assessment!

This is provided for incense enthusiasts' reference. ^^
