The naturally disordered oil patterns and the hard , dense fibers
protect the agarwood from the decomposition by powerful bacteria in the earth... these are the oil patterns or oil lines!
They allow the agarwood amulets to resist external damage (moisture, rainwater, sweat...).
Amulets made from amulets that have been mineralized for thousands of years are rare, hence the high price!
But amulets made from the same material, close to water-sinking amulets, are worth owning.
