These are prayer beads made in Jayapura, Indonesia. They feature a dense, black oil coating, resembling the texture of sun-dried beads.
The beads range from 10mm to 108 main beads, 10 tassels, 3 grid beads, 1 gourd-shaped bead, and 1 mother bead.
Jayapula quickly sinks logs to make Buddhist prayer beads, storing them for over a year before using them.
Carefully selected Grade 4A, with finely textured natural oil lines.
With the hardness of petrified wood, it won't crack when worn.
