This is an early collection of Vietnamese Hoi An agarwood (approximately 20 years or more) in excellent condition.
The agarwood is very dry, so there's no concern about moisture affecting the weight.
When lit with
an open flame, the beautiful aroma resonates in the air... a rich, sweet, honey-like fragrance fills the air!
As the agarwood resin slowly decomposes in the air, layers of fragrance emerge:
a honey scent, a cool sensation,
followed by a feeling of saliva production,
and then the lingering fragrance returns to the air –
this is true agarwood!!!
The above results are from my experience directly burning the agarwood with an open flame. Due to factors such as environment, olfactory sensitivity, trust, and physical condition,
this may not be the case for all agarwood enthusiasts.
Agarwood chips are randomly selected to meet the desired weight. Agarwood weighing
over 20 grams can also be ground into powder!!!
